Kick start 2010

With a very successful 2009 Regatta, the Regatta Promoters Ltd is already implementing the big plans for the 2010 event.

The accomplishments of the rebranding of the 2009 Tobago Carnival Regatta has been a catalyst for many enthusiasts worldwide, who have already begun enquiring about next years event, good news to the promoters.

There can be no question about the suitability of Pigeon Point, Tobago as the host venue, dubbed the “Wind Hole” by wind surfers and Kite boarder alike, its beauty and environmental conditions makes it the ideal spot to host – “ A festival of Wind!”.

Plans are afoot for a greater involvement with the Southern Caribbean Islands, not only in the Big Boat and Bum Boat segments but also in the Wind surfing and kite boarding segments as well

Nothing gets the attention of young people like action and the promoters of the event see the Air Show as the biggest catalyst in getting them back into the sport.

So look out for 2010 as it promises to surpass 2009 by a long shot.
